God’s Children Must Exhibit Steadfastness & Maintain Godly Standards Always
(Passage: Philippians 1)
It is important that people who claim to be Christians are steadfast in God they claim to serve. A Christian who is steadfast glorifies God. Believers must ensure not to allow any factor (whether internal or external) to influence them into compromising their stand with God. Under whatever condition, we must not allow any circumstance to toss us back and forth against the firm word of God.
Believers must remain immovable always; abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing fully that our labor of love to the Lord is not in vain.
Apostle Paul admonished the believers in Philippine and said:
“Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God” (Philippians 1:27-28).
God Rewards Those Who Remain Steadfast Despite Persecution
Expects God’s reward if you are steadfast in Him! But, be ready to suffer some inconveniences because of your stand with God. Our confession of faith in Jesus may cause us to suffer persecution from antichrist people, but no matter what, we must maintain our standard.
As a child of God, keep your faith when the unbelievers get irritated!
Everyone who professes to love God should act it out. God has promised to help us overcome.
It is a worthwhile effort to remain steadfast in Christ Jesus because those who do so will be hugely rewarded in heaven. God reserves his tremendous rewards for his children who withstand the test of time to honor him. The reward of people who endure persecution will abide in this life, and the one to come.
People who put their trust in God and serve him wholeheartedly, regardless of persecution will have many benefits on earth and in heaven. Christians must persevere to the end to enjoy the benefits reserved for them.
